Keizersgracht

A HOME THAT EXUDES CLASS

This lovely mansion on one of Amsterdam’s main canals features the classical front and rear parts connected by a middle section with a stairwell. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms have been renovated in authentic, contemporary style. The beautiful, late eighteenth-century ceilings at the entrance level have been entirely restored. In the adjacent main entrance, the demolished stucco has been reapplied in style. The period room is a sight to behold, with Ionian pilasters, entirely rebuilt according to the tradition of sixteenth-century Italian architect Vincenzo Scamozzi.
