AchterGRACHT

THE 17TH CENTURY IN A 19TH CENTURY COAT

This house built in the 17th century underwent a metamorphosis end 19th century. Besides that the house was worn out. Our clients wished to have enough rooms to have their kids and grandchildren stay over and to be able to reach all the floors in the house. In consultation with Monuments and Archaeology a compact elevator was placed in the position of the existing stairwells between front and rear house. Details like the ‘open book’ marble in the master bathroom and the domotica  characterize the perfection of this rebuilding.
